HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, John Wiley and Sons, Rowman & Littlefield, Routledge/Taylor and Francis, Hachette Book Group, McGraw Hill, Oxford University Press, John Hopkins University Press and hundreds of Independent Houses contribute to this year’s Outstanding Competition!

Kyli Santiago, independently published poet and advocate for mental and emotional wellness, was recognized as a standout among the world’s finest and honored with two finalist awards for her debut poetry book. This is not the first time her debut poetry collection came out on top of so many traditionally published entrants. Since it’s release in late 2021, Healing Yesterday’s Tears has been honored with over 15 International Book Awards and counting.

Written in a lively combination of free verse, rhyme and rhythmic flow, Healing Yesterday’s Tears addresses heavy subject matter such as depression, emotional abuse, and thoughts of suicide. However, this collection conveys so much more than a melancholy narrative of struggle and hardship. Santiago’s courage and resolve permeate the entire poetry book, infusing hope, love, inner strength, and healing into her verses that leave readers with a sense of optimism about the future.

This powerful, heartfelt poetic story of survival is a must-read that will encourage you to beat the odds and inspire you to achieve greatness!

Two-Time Award-Winning Finalist of the 2022 Best Book Awards, Healing Yesterday’s Tears is 75 pages and is available for purchase in paperback and eBook on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
